Device Restriction

Device restriction is a feature that restricts access to assigned keys based on the authorized user's mobile device. 

Enabling and Disabling Device Restriction

Administrators can enable or disable this feature following the described steps:

  1. Open the User page of the user you want to edit Device Restriction settings. 
  2. Click on the "Edit" icon as highlighted in the image below.
  3. Scroll down the page until you find the "Restrict User" option. 
  4. To enable/disable it, click on the toggle button on the right side, as highlighted below

Check User Devices and Clear the Restricted Device

Administrators can also check the user's devices and clear the registered device to allow them to use a different mobile device.

The following video shows how to clear the device and how to view the history of devices that have been used in the past by a given user.

 

  1. Navigate to the User page of the user whose device information you wish to review.
  2. Click on the "Manage Devices" button.
  3. A new page will open, showing all the devices associated with the user.
  4. To remove the restriction, click on "Unregister Device," confirm the action, and the device of the new user will be registered upon their next sign-in.

  5. If you wish to review the sign-ins and other information for each device, simply click on the respective device.


    This page displays all sign-ins that have been completed on this device. Please note that this history includes sign-ins from all users on this device, not just the user currently being modified. You can find the email of the most recent user who signed in to this device at the top of the page.
