There are 3 shackle options for the AP3 Armored Padlock.
- AP3 uses the standard shackle. This is the most common choice and it is the most secure of our designs
- AP3L uses the long shackle. This is also made for physical robustness and security, but fits some applications (hasps) that AP3 doesn't. AP3L should be chosen only when AP3 doesn't fit.
- AP3T uses the thin shackle. This is a lower security padlock that should only be selected when there isn't enough space for the standard shackle in the holes or rings of the hasp. AP3T should be chosen only when both AP3 and AP3L don't fit.
