This battery technology has natural variation between units, so some will last longer than others. The lifetime of the battery can be reduced by various factors such as high use frequency and temperatures far from room temperature.   **Does the warranty cover battery issues?** [Sera4's Standard Hardware Warranty](https://sera4.com/hardware-warranty/) does not cover consumables, like batteries.
